1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) govern your participation in the online and weekend English courses (“Course”) provided by alexi.cz (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in the Course, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from enrolling.

2. Definitions

“Course” refers to any online or weekend English course provided by us.
“Student” refers to any individual enrolled in the Course.

3. Enrollment and Payment

Enrollment in the Course is completed upon payment of the applicable fee.
Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Students may cancel their enrollment within 1 day of payment (a cooling off period) for a full refund.
Refund requests must be made in writing to alex@alexi.cz.

5. Access to Course Materials

Course materials are provided for individual use only.
Sharing, copying, or distributing course materials without permission is prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

All Course content is the intellectual property of alexi.cz.
Unauthorized use of Course content is strictly prohibited.

7. Code of Conduct

Students must maintain respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow students.
Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the Course without a refund.

8. Privacy Policy

We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
By enrolling, you consent to our use of your information according to the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the Course.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and updated on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the European Union (EU) regulations and directives.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Financial Transactions

All credit and debit card transactions for Memberhip purchases are handled by Stripe, we do not keep any of your details on our website.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with anyone. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
